Have you ever needed to do something, but you didn't feel like doing it? Maybe you had a task at work that was unpleasant. Maybe your child or family member was acting up and you didn't want to fight it though you know you should.
Motivation is a
hard thing. Zig Ziglar, an author and motivational speaker, says: "People
often say that motivation doesn't last. Well, neither does bathing that's why
we recommended daily." Our everyday routines and problems can become
mundane and tiring. However, it is important that we find motivation daily. We
are not going to be at our best everyday as we are human. But we can do our
best each day.
1 Corinthians
15:58 says "Therefore, my beloved brothers, be steadfast, immovable,
always abounding in the work of the Lord, knowing that in the Lord your labor
is not in vain." Everything we do, we are doing it for God. That is our
motivation. That is where we should be getting our motivation. If we don't
focus on why we are doing things, then we can lose our motivation.
Where are you
getting your motivation? How can you focus on your endgame each day?
